The Pillivuyt factory was founded in 1818 in central France. At the time, Pillivuyt supplied decorated and custom-made pieces for the great royal courts of Europe. She won the gold medal at the Exposition in Philadelphia in 1826, in London in 1826, in London in 1862, in London in 1862, in London in 1862, in Amsterdam in 1883, and in Paris in 1853, 1855, 1867, 1878 and 1889. Lifestyles changed and in the early 1900s, Pillivuyt established close ties with French gastronomy. Thus, Pillivuyt works with chefs to create rooms dedicated to French cuisine. Pillivuyt invented the pan bar cup for bistros as early as 1904 and became a reference for the quality of culinary porcelain that goes from the oven to the table while respecting the flavors of food. Solid, resistant to thermal and mechanical shocks, unalterable in the dishwasher, Pillivuyt porcelain meets the requirements of professionals and individuals.Today, Pillivuyt porcelain maintains its know-how and history to offer a unique culinary experience, from the kitchen to the table, in everyday life.Pillivuyt writes more than 200 years of history with its DNA, tradition and innovation, and thus becomes the specialist in resistant porcelain French. Always with elegance. To your ovens to test!
The Pillivuyt company bears the last name of its creator, Jean Louis Richard Pillivuyt.

And our artisans continue with traditional shaping in the creation of the dough.

Pillivuyt perpetuates the excellent know-how of its master porcelain makers, defending 100% made in France manufacturing.
Materials 100% of European origin, 75% of French origin.
We have mastered the shaping of Pillivuyt porcelain since the creation of the paste to be able to guarantee the quality of your Pillivuyt pieces. The quality of our porcelain is directly linked (in a first step) to the selection of the minerals that form the paste. So we have chosen to remain close to our partners (as we did in the past): 75% of the materials come from France and some come from other European countries: Germany, Spain, Spain, Norway and England.
100% recyclable and sustainable.
Porcelain is a very noble material, 100% recyclable and sustainable. Pillivuyt porcelain is made with minerals and water, we can say earth with water transformed by fire.
